North Metropolitan TAFE is delivering the skills and knowledge required to be a confident and effective leader through a series of six skill sets comprised of units from BSB40520 Certificate IV in Leadership and Management.
Each completed skill set gives you credit towards this certificate, and completion of all six skill sets will make you eligible for the Certificate IV in Leadership and Management.
If you are an emerging leader, this skill set will help you develop the skills and knowledge required to lead and facilitate a team that will be able to implement the requirements of your organisation's operational plan.
You'll need to be working in a leadership or management role and have supervisory responsibility for a minimum of two team members.
You should currently be employed in roles such as a frontline leader, team leader, supervisor, program coordinator, project leader or manager.
The skill sets will be delivered in six 1-day workshops on campus, please see the individual skill set pages for intake dates.
Workshops will be run from 9:00am - 4:30pm.
Next course date
Tuesday 21 November 2023
You'll then need to complete assessments in your workplace.
Typically these assessments will be due up to 9 weeks after each workshop, although you can complete them in a much shorter time frame. Alternatively, if you need more time to finish the required work, please discuss with your lecturer.
