Direct Client Care

Growth in Aged Care and Disability sectors will create jobs and local employment opportunities.

As Australia’s population and workforce ages, life expectancy increases and the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) continues to be rolled out, the need for qualified health, aged care and disability support professionals grows.

We are the largest vocational provider of nursing and health training in WA, providing significant training for the direct client care sector to ensure we are creating skilled graduates ready to support the needs of our community.

Our expertise

Aged Care and Disability Enterprise Training Program

NMTAFE is partnering with enterprises and consortiums, specifically those in the social and allied health sector, to train existing full-time, parttime and casual workers to fill current skills gaps and future workforce requirements through traineeships and skill sets.

We believe keeping employees current with quality standards and best practice is a challenge due to the cost and backfilling of staff.
