When you complete the Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) you will be on a pathway to develop a career in the rewarding world of disability work. On successful completion you could find work in a variety of settings such as residential, individual support, employment, recreational/day support, advocacy and case management.
This course includes a minimum of 120 hours of supervised work placement, where you'll be able to apply your training in a meaningful and relevant way, and gain real industry experience.

Working in the community services industry you will provide services to clients in relation to mental health issues that may include case management, referral, advocacy, individual support, and education/health promotion services.
This course will be delivered through a combination of online and on campus training.
The online delivery will be done via Collaborate sessions (on Blackboard), which are live classes run online with a lecturer taking you through the training.
On campus sessions will be run in smaller groups in class where there are practical skills and assessments to be performed.
