The Jobs and Skills Centre provides free career, training, and employment advice to prospective, current, and graduate students of North Metropolitan TAFE, along with supporting the general WA Public.

We can also help if you are a business seeking assistance with recruitment and workforce training initiatives.

The Jobs and Skills Centre operates on an appointment basis from the Balga, Joondalup (Kendrew), Midland and Perth campuses, open Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.

The Enhanced Aboriginal Engagement Team provides specialised services for disengaged Aboriginal youth aged from 15 – 25 years. Our mobile team engages with schools, community and Industry to assist and support Aboriginal youth to become job ready.

The range of mobile services includes:

  • Career and course guidance, including the Koomba Birdal (Big Spark) program
  • Job search assistance such as resumes and interview preparation
  • General mentoring and support for students wanting to explore alternatives to school

The Jobs and Skills Centre can support your recruitment efforts by:

  • Advising on how to improve your recruitment processes, particularly when targeting a graduate cohort
  • Distributing your job listings across North Metropolitan TAFE’s training areas
