Congratulations to 13 of our students who have been awarded the first round of Women in Non-Traditional Trades (WiNTT) Scholarships.
The WiNTT Scholarships are a State Government initiative designed to improve women’s participation and equality in the workforce, in particular their representation in traditionally male dominated roles such as building and construction, and science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM).
Minister for Training and Workforce Development, Hon. Simone McGurk MLA, joined us at our East Perth campus for a breakfast event, where she met with the successful students and recognised their achievement.
Our scholarship recipients receive a $5,000 payment and also benefit from individual tailored mentoring and support services from our team of dedicated and passionate lecturers.
