This apprenticeship course will give you the skills and knowledge to undertake a variety of plumbing work for the domestic, commercial and industry markets.
This qualification is directly aligned with priority industry areas where jobs are today, and into the future. As part of the state government Lower fees, local skills program, through to 31 December 2025 you'll only pay half the tuition fees (plus resource fee) capped at $1,200; or $400 if you're aged 15—24 or eligible for a concession.

When you complete the Certificate III in Plumbing you'll be looking at an in demand (and possibly lucrative) career as a plumber, or gasfitter.
You will gain the knowledge and skills to work effectively in the construction industry. Our Balga Campus is a major centre in WA for training in the building and construction industries, with purpose-built workshops, up-to-date equipment, and lecturers who maintain close links with industry.
The Certificate III in Plumbing is an apprenticeship; please see the Apprenticeships section for more information.
- Safely install, alter, and repair pipe work services and appliances to suit domestic, commercial and industrial needs
