This course will give you foundation skills in supporting IT activities in the workplace. Our three campuses offer different elective groups so you have the opportunity to focus on the ICT field of most interest to you.

This qualification is directly aligned with priority industry areas where jobs are today, and into the future. As part of the state government Lower fees, local skills program, through to 31 December 2025 you'll only pay half the tuition fees (plus resource fee) capped at $1,200; or $400 if you're aged 15—24 or eligible for a concession.

This qualification provides you with the skills and knowledge to support information technology activities in the workplace across a range of information and communication technologies (ICT) areas, including programming, networking and technical support.

At North Metropolitan TAFE you will have the opportunity to focus on the ICT field of most interest to you with the different electives offered at the three campuses where we deliver this course.

This Certificate III in Information, Digital Media and Technology gives you the foundation skills to begin a career in ICT with further study at North Metropolitan TAFE. You may follow a career pathway into the ICT industry in areas including cyber security, programming, networking or web design.
