Effective managers and leaders are highly valued and sought after and the skills they possess are easily transferable across a variety of settings and industries.

Through a series of six skill sets comprised of units from BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management, North Metropolitan TAFE is delivering the skills and knowledge required for effective team management, business relationship management and influential leadership. You'll be equipped with the skills to communicate effectively, drive performance and innovation and achieve organisational goals.

Each completed skill set gives you credit towards this diploma qualification, and completion of all six skill sets will make you eligible for the Diploma of Leadership and Management.

If you have already completed a diploma in a relevant discipline, such as Business or a related field, please contact us to discuss possible credits for your previous study and you could add the Diploma of Leadership and Management to your CV in a shorter time frame.

The skills gained will empower leaders to cultivate personal and professional growth in both yourself and in others. In the dynamic world of leadership and management, continuous development of both individuals and teams is essential for success.  This skill set will cover managing and leading the team's performance through various strategies including health and wellbeing and identifying and implementing meaningful professional development to reflect individual and team requirements.
