Effective managers and leaders are highly valued and sought after and the skills they possess are easily transferable across a variety of settings and industries.

Through a series of six skill sets comprised of units from BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management, North Metropolitan TAFE is able to deliver the skills and knowledge required for effective team management, business relationship management and influential leadership.

Each completed skill set gives you credit towards this diploma qualification, and completion of all six skill sets will make you eligible for the Diploma of Leadership and Management.

If you have already completed a diploma in a relevant discipline, such as Business or a related field, please contact us to discuss possible credits for your previous study and you could add the Diploma of Leadership and Management to your CV in a shorter time frame.

You'll be equipped  with essential communication skills needed to excel in leadership and management roles.  This skill set is designed to empower existing leaders to communicate persuasively, build strong relationships and understand the importance of emotional intelligence when communicating.
