On campus

You will be required to attend campus 3.5 - 4 days per week from 8:30am - 3:00pm from week 1 through to week 20 when studied full time in one semester.

Study and knowledge assessment can be completed in an online learning environment, but skills assessment will be completed on campus.

The course will be delivered using full time scheduling - if you wish to study this course part-time, please contact us to discuss your options.

At-home study

You will need to allocate approximately 1- 2 hours of study outside your structure classroom hours per unit
per week, for undertaking research and assignment completion.

North Metropolitan TAFE provides students with access to all learning and assessment materials through the Blackboard learning platform that can be accessed any time.

There is no mandatory work placement requirement however, volunteer work outside of formal class is encouraged.

Study outside of class hours, including private study, assignment preparation, and research will be required to successfully complete your course.

You will need a Wifi-enabled laptop (capable of word processing etc). Enrolled students will have access to Office 365.

As a student you will also have additional costs associated with your study, for example text books and stationery, printing and other materials required for your assignments.
