This Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is the nationally recognised entry-level qualification for those looking to embark on a career in the vocational education and training (VET) sector. It is aimed at those who wish to train and assess vocational students assisting them on their own learning pathways and is an essential requirement to employment in these roles.

Completion of this course meets the legislative requirements for individuals to deliver accredited training and assess the skill competence of VET students either in a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) or within a work environment as part of a structured VET program.
To enrol in this course you will need to demonstrate that you have current vocational skills, knowledge and expertise that you will be passing on to others after you become a qualified trainer.

This course is delivered in five clusters through a mix of both face-to-face workshops and online structured learning and assessment activities. You will need to successfully complete all clusters to obtain the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

Covering the five topics below, delivered in 4 week blocks (schedule is listed in the Timetable section below) the program provides you with the latest qualification and the flexibility to complete it in just 8 months, or up to 12 months. Completion of each skill set will see you gain a Statement of Attainment.
