Become the real deal with just seven weeks of full-time study to earn your Plumbing Contractor’s Licence
On successful completion of this skill set, you will be able to apply to the Plumbing Licensing Board(opens in a new tab) (PLB), for your Plumbing Contractor’s Licence.
You will also gain the skills to be able to supervise works carried out by tradespersons and/or apprentices; build your own business; estimate job costs on water, sanitary and drainage systems, and much more.
You’ll need to successfully complete all of the units listed below to apply for the full Plumbing Contractor’s Licence. If however, you wish to specialise in only Drainage or Backflow and Water Supply, you will need to complete the core units and the units listed in your chosen specialisation.

Please note to undertake this specialisation you will need to have successfully completed following pre-requisite units:
- CPCPCM2043 Carry out WHS requirements
- CPCPCM3023 Fabricate and install non-ferrous pressure piping
- CPCPWT3027 Install backflow prevention devices
- CPCPWT3022 Install and commission water heating systems and adjust controls and devices
If you do not have these pre-requisites (or equivalent), we can schedule you to attend a 1-day session prior to commencing this specialisation at an additional cost.
