Successful completion of this two day course will mean you can carry out gas fitting work under the supervision of a Supervising Gasfitter.
North Metropolitan TAFE’s Gasfitter Supervised course meets the ‘Training Plan’ requirements set by EnergySafety WA that all supervised gasfitters should complete before they begin gasfitting work. This course is a pre-requisite to the eight day training program for Gas Authorisation Category 2, from EnergySafety WA.
Course content includes:
- Legal restrictions and compliances for installation
- Gas safety
- Combustion fundamentals
- Pressure testing and purging
- 1.4 Legislation
- 2.1 Safety OHS
- 3.2 Ventilation Systems
- 4.2 GAS -Purging and Pressure Testing Systems
