This course is 100% practical and you will develop your creative abilities in:

• 3D modelling and texturing
• Concept art and storyboarding
• 2D and 3D animation
• Game art and game prototype development
• Motion Graphics
• Visual effects
• Software such as Unreal, Maya, ZBrush, Toon Boom Harmony, Unity, Fusion and Da Vinci Resolve, and Adobe Photoshop, Substance 3D Painter, Premiere Pro, After Effects and Animate

School Leaver Non-School Leaver AQF
Completion of WACE General or ATAR (Minimum C Grades) or equivalent Completion of WACE General or ATAR or equivalent (minimum C Grades) Certificate III

Completion of Certificate IV in Screen and Media (Animation and Game Art), or equivalent, while not essential provides a good foundation for this Diploma course.

On campus
This course is equivalent to 2 days per week in class when studied full time across two semesters.

Online workload
This course does not contain any modules to be completed online.

At-home study
As well as the on campus component, you will need to complete approximately 5 - 10 hours of additional study each week outside of class hours, including private study, assignment preparation, and research. You will need to have the basic technical requirements for at-home study. If you don’t have access to a computer and WiFi at home, we recommend using our library computers during library hours.
