Two weeks of full-time study and 250 hours recorded gasfitting will provide you with the necessary requirements to work unsupervised installing, testing and commissioning Type A gas appliances for both Natural and LPG gas.

Complete the requirements to be able to sign off on gas installations.
This course covers the design and size customer gas installations for domestic and commercial proprieties, caravan and marine craft installations for both Natural and LPG gas.
It is a theoretical based qualification only but you must have recorded 250 hours of gasfitting work which was completed under the supervision of a person holding a full Class G Gasfitting Permit.
Completion of this course and the 250 hours of recorded gasfitting (completed in the workplace) will allow you to apply to DMIRS (Energy Safety) for your Class G Gasfitting Permit which will then allow you to 'sign off' gas installations using the DMIRS - 'Notice of Completion'.
