This course covers the design and size customer gas installations for domestic and commercial proprieties, caravan and marine craft installations for both Natural and LPG gas.
It is a theoretical based qualification only but you must have recorded 250 hours of gasfitting work which was completed under the supervision of a person holding a full Class G Gasfitting Permit.
Completion of this course and the 250 hours of recorded gasfitting (completed in the workplace) will allow you to apply to DMIRS (Energy Safety) for your Class G Gasfitting Permit which will then allow you to 'sign off' gas installations using the DMIRS - 'Notice of Completion'.
You will need to hold a current ‘Class G Gasfitting Permit - Tradesperson restricted to working under supervision' issued by DMIRS (Energy Safety).
This course will be delivered in a 10 day block, with classes running 8:00am - 4:15pm.
