Explore the nature of storytelling through the medium of Digital Cinema

This course provides you with the opportunity to work on varied content and will foster your skills in developing ideas, storylines and treatments, producing, directing, camera and lighting design, location sound and editing techniques.

You will be equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to work within the film and television industry. This course will also give you the opportunity to explore the nature of storytelling through the medium of digital cinema, culminating in a gala cinema screening.

The focus of the course is to create fully funded, short narrative films, with professional actors, using current industry equipment. You will also have opportunities to produce documentaries, micro dramas, and client-based projects.

Successful completion of this course may see you gain advanced standing for entry into the WA Screen Academy's Bachelor of Media & Communications at ECU.
