After receiving close to 100 student nominations from our lecturers, 16 finalists were selected as 2022 Ambassadors across seven categories.

Seven of the 16 finalists were also selected as finalists in the State Government’s WA Training Awards to be held on September 21.

Aboriginal and Torres Islander Education Support (AIEO) graduate and Noongar woman, Lieshia Green was announced as the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Student of the Year with the talented student also a finalist in the WA Training Awards.

“I came to TAFE to enhance my skills as an AIEO; never did I think about any awards,” Lieshia said.
