Early Childhood Education and Care

If you have an interest in how children grow, develop and learn, work well as part of a team and enjoy creating fun activities, then a career in early childhood care is ideal for you. This is a skills shortage area, with high demand for workers, allowing you to work closely with people from different ages, cultures and backgrounds, including children, families and communities.

By studying one of our qualifications, you will have many opportunities to develop creative and sustainable educational programs. You will learn how to work effectively in early childhood education and care settings and the administrative and legislative sides of running a centre. Training includes lectures, workshops, online classes, hands-on activities and group work, as well as supervised field placements in different children’s services settings.
