Practical skills in basic machining

Gain practical skills in basic machining on lathes, milling machines and ancillary machines such as pedestal drills and grinders by doing North Metropolitan TAFE's Metal machining for beginners course.

You can bring in your own project to complete at our Midland campus workshop, discuss the suitability of your particular project with your lecturer.

Dress requirements

You will be required to wear personal protective clothing at all times which include steel capped safety boots, clear safety glasses, long pants and cotton drill shirt.

Courses are run over five Wednesdays, 5.30pm - 9.00pm.
