A versatile software package with a wide range of uses

SOLIDWORKS is a versatile software package that has a wide range of uses in the workplace and also in many hobbies.
It can be used in small and large applications and across many fields and industries, such as engineering, industrial design, sculpture and architecture.

This short introduction course held at North Metropolitan TAFE's Midland Campus takes you through:

  • touring the interface
  • the 3D workspace
  • basic sketching tools
  • relationships and sketching tools
  • sketch-editing tools
  • reference geometry
  • building 3D geometry
  • removing material
  • refining geometry

Courses are run over six Tuesdays, 5.30pm - 9.00pm.
