This short course is a great foundation to commence your Excel journey.

It is designed to help new users to Excel understand its purpose and uses and apply to the workplace as a tool to save you time and productivity.
It is opening the door to your understanding of the Excel and what it can be best used for. 

In this course you'll learn how to:

  • Navigate and understand Microsoft Excel
  • Create spreadsheets
    - Plan and design a spreadsheet
    - Explore options for style and layout
    - Automatic functions and sheet style
  • Use spreadsheets
    - Data input and validation
    - Format and adjust layout
    - Basic formulas
  • Produce charts
    - Chart type and design
    - Create and modify charts
  • Finalise
    - Preview, adjust and print/digitally present spreadsheet and charts
    - Naming and storage
2023 course dates

On campus - delivered as six hour workshop
Monday 6 November, 9.00am - 4.00pm

Online - delivered 2 evenings a week, 2.5 hours per session

Wednesday 18 October & Thursday 19  October, 5.30pm - 8.00pm
Wednesday 15 November & Thursday 16 November, 5.30pm - 8.00pm
