You'll work under supervision demonstrating the knowledge and skills gained in this Certificate II. This is a preparatory qualification that can be used as a pathway into a range of specialist Certificate III qualifications within the printing and graphic arts industry.
You will need to be employed in a training contract by an appropriate organisation to complete this traineeship.
- Strong focus on Pre-press units of competency
- Correct utilisation of page layout application
- Theoretical skills in bitmap and vector software applications
- Overview of typography and working with PDF files
