Learn to manufacture, fit, assemble, erect, operate, test, fault find, alter, repair electrical equipment. This apprenticeship course will give you the skills to solve problems in DC circuits and in single and three phase low voltage machines.

A fitting trades career in electrics

This qualification will provide you with the skills and knowledge to manufacture, fit, assemble, erect, operate, test, fault find, alter, repair electrical equipment and includes electrical wiring work only if that work is associated with assembling, maintaining, terminating or altering the wiring between electrical components within a plant or machinery.

North Metropolitan TAFE is one of Western Australia’s major training organisations for the Building and Construction Industry. Our Electrical workshops house advanced equipment and our lecturers are experienced Electricians, who maintain close links with Building and Construction organisations so that training is industry relevant, giving you the best chance to succeed.
