Credit transfer recognises formal education that you have previously undertaken.
If you have successfully completed a superseded unit that has been deemed equivalent and you can demonstrate currency, North Metropolitan TAFE will recognise the unit and credit it to your current studies.
You must grant viewing permission to your academic records for NMTAFE by logging on to the USI Student Portal(opens in a new tab) and following the Setup access for NMTAFE to view your USI transcript instructions (415 KB) (PDF document).
You must also provide evidence of the unit(s) of competency by either:
- Downloading a secure PDF of your USI record from the USI Student Portal(opens in a new tab) ; or
- Providing a copy of an academic transcript listing units completed.
Please complete the Application for Credit Transfer (545 KB) (PDF document) and either:
- Email the form with your evidence to credittrans@nmtafe.wa.edu.au
- Provide a hard copy of the form with your evidence to any Student Services counter at NMTAFE
There is no charge for processing a credit transfer application.
