Apprentice of the Year

"Last year I entered into two competitions one of them was the Apprentice of the Year competition and in that I achieved a gold medal... I find it to be quite rewarding especially when you see people come in and they enjoy the food that you prepare for them."

Harrison Joyce studied a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery at North Metropolitan TAFE’s Joondalup campus. He was also named our 2018 Apprentice of the Year.

Harrison started his career in hospitality as a school-based apprentice, he is now completing his apprenticeship at the same restaurant.  He is a member of the Australian National Culinary Youth Team and will also be travelling to the Culinary Olympics in Germany in 2020.
