Mining Field Operation Skill Set

This Mining Field Operations skill set will help you gain the skills and knowledge needed to  live, work, and operate in the field.  You'll also cover the safety and communication requirements for employment in the resources sector.

Certificate IV in Electronics and Communications

Amp up your career in Electronics and Telecommunications

Complete the Certificate IV in Electronics and Communications and you’ll have the practical skills and knowledge to work with radio/telecommunication, data systems/cabling and computer network hardware.

This course is delivered partially online and on campus over 18 months. If you have completed a Certificate II or a trade certificate in Electronics (or equivalent) you can apply for a credit transfer reducing your study time by either six or 12 months.

Are you ready to unearth a fine career?

This qualification will give you the skills and knowledge necessary for employment as a processing technician in a resources processing facility.

You'll learn how to operate and monitor equipment including conveyors and valve systems. Certificate IV in Engineering (Instrumentation)

Take control of your instrumentation career

Are you a qualified tradesperson with an electrical, mechanical fitter or refrigeration background? If so our Certificate IV in Engineering (Instrumentation) will give you the training, skills and knowledge needed to work on and maintain modern instrumentation and control systems.

This qualification includes both theoretical and practical training. The theoretical component is undertaken online whilst the practical components are completed on campus.
