CNC Lathe Introduction

Cover all the basics for use and maintenance of CNC lathes

  • safety on and around CNC lathes

Welding For Beginners

Get to grips with welding at North Metropolitan TAFE's Midland Campus

Get a handle on the use of welding equipment such as GAS Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), Manual Metal Arc Welding (MMAW), oxy cutting and oxy welding in our fully equipped Midland workshop.
You'll learn the skills you need to complete basic welding and gas cutting tasks.

Classes are run either over five Wednesday evenings, 5:30pm - 9:00pm or two full days, Thursday and Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Foundry basic - Metal casting
