Strike a pose!

In this course you will enter the world of portraiture where good communication skills and camera craft allow the photographer to capture emotion and present well balanced, thoughtful, fun and interesting formal candid images.

Topics covered in this course include:
•    Cameras
•    Studio lighting
•    Exposure and histograms
•    Posing
•    How to use light and posing to cater for facial characteristics
•    Body language
•    Location scouting
•    Environmental portraiture
•    Image enhancing techniques

Course requirements
•    To enter this course you need to have completed the Photography Basic course or equivalent level course
Dress requirements
•    Participants must wear enclosed shoes e.g. sneakers or leather type shoes

What to Bring
For this course, you will need to bring:
•    Your DSLR camera or digital compact camera with manual shutter speed, aperture and ISO controls
