North Metropolitan TAFE’s telecommunications qualifications will set you up for a career in Data & Voice Communications, and Electronics & Communications. Our programs provide you with the skills and knowledge needed to enter the telecommunications industry and manage its convergent technologies, including radio, optical, data and internet protocol (IP) networks.
You will learn how to install and test internet protocol devices in convergence networks, software applications, home or small office networks, how to build and maintain secure networks, and connect hardware peripherals. Our courses will see you ready to select, install, test, fault-find, repair and maintain telecommunications and high-performance data services.
