With North Metropolitan TAFE’s painting qualifications, you will gain essential skills and knowledge in processes, materials, tools and equipment used in the industry, and develop specialist expertise in the preparation, application and maintenance of a variety of surface coatings.
You will be trained in a wide range of techniques, including wall-papering, texture coating, staining, spray painting and colour matching skills, in simulated work environments.
Our signcraft courses will give you the practical skills to design, manufacture and install signs. You will learn to carry out measurements and calculations, prepare surfaces and produce vinyl, fabric, screen-print, digital and LED signage.
