From hundreds of entries across Australia, our alumni Jodie Williams was announced as a winner of Radio Today’s 30 Under 30 Awards on 27 November.

  • 2014 radio program graduate Jodie Williams claims Radio Today’s 30 Under 30 Award
  • The awards recognise the 30 most promising young people in radio, audio and podcasting

Ms Williams, now a music director at NOVA Entertainment in Sydney, was selected as one of the 30 most promising young people climbing up the ranks in radio, audio and podcasting.

Ms Williams, who graduated from our radio program in 2014, was selected as one of three winners in the Music Category.

Other categories included Campaigns, Content, Digital, Marketing, News, On Air, Podcasting, Production and Sales.

NMTAFE Radio Broadcasting course coordinator Phill Vinciullo congratulated Ms Williams on her win.
“It is a great achievement from Jodie and provides a great example to our current students of what they can achieve if they work hard in their chosen field,” he said.

Radio Today editor, Vivienne Kelly, said the calibre of entries was outstanding with the final 30 a force to be reckoned with.
“It’s been so uplifting to see everyone’s passion for their jobs, their careers, their stations and their industry,” she said.

“I’m so pleased we could offer some excitement and positivity to the hard-working up-and-comers in radio, audio and podcasting, and in turn learn so much about the future of the industry.

“Congratulations to all the winners.”

From Monday, 30 November 2020, Radio Today will profile each of the winning entries from across the 10 categories.
