North Metro TAFE goes national

North Metropolitan TAFE has been recognised as a finalist for the Australian Training Provider of the Year Award.

  • The Australian Training Awards are the peak, national awards for the vocational education and training (VET) sector, recognising individuals, business and registered training organisations.
  • North Metropolitan TAFE joins our graduate Diploma of Anaesthetic Technology student Caitlan Noble who has been named as a finalist in the Australian Vocational Student of the Year category.

Assistant Minister for Vocational Education and Skills, Karen Andrews MP, wants to see the best recognised through the awards.

“I want to see the best in our sector recognised for investing in vocational education and training, either as a provider or someone who has benefitted from receiving a nationally recognised qualification,” said Minister Andrews.

“Winners and finalists go on to join the ranks of the prestigious Australian VET Alumni, where they become Australia’s national champions for skills and training.”

Winners are announced at the Australian Training Awards event in Sydney.
