Mid-semester application

It is possible to enrol in the Proportional Integral Derivative Skill Set concurrently. NMTAFE will help you manage the order of completion of subjects within the Term so that you can achieve the pre-requisite units before commencing the PID program. 
NOTE if you select the PID Skill Set above and meet entrance requirements you will be enrolled in the Certificate IV in Electrical - Instrumentation and the PID Skill Set during the same enrolment period.
To enrol in Certificate IV in Electrical - Instrumentation you will need to provide evidence that you meet one of the following entrance requirements:
  • Completed UEE30811 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician, or equivalent; OR
  • Hold a current electrical trade licence.

To enrol in Certificate IV in Engineering (Computer Numerical Control) you will need to provide evidence that you have a current Certificate III, trade papers, qualifications, or equivalent to study.
