Gain the skills needed to support children with autism in school or child care settings

This skill set has been designed to help you support children aged 2 - 12 who have educational needs associated with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

If you are a teacher, an education assistant or an early childhood educator, North Metropolitan TAFE's experienced lecturers can provide you with the knowledge to support children with autism in school or care settings.

Online

Some of our Online courses can be done completely online. However some of the courses require a practical component or assessment which can't be done online, or some may be a mix of online and on campus learning. Please note classes will only run with sufficient numbers.

Delivery will be online, via live workshops. If you are not working with a child with autism you will need to arrange a suitable 22.5 hr work placement.
