Three phase plug and cord replacement

Successful completion of this skill set will equip you with the tools you need to be able to attach cords, cables and plugs. You'll gain the training, skills and knowledge to change a flexible plug or cord and wire up new plugs and sockets.

You'll cover the following units:

UEENEEE101A Apply occupational health and safety regulations, codes and practices in the workplace
UEENEEP024A Attach cords and plugs to electrical equipment for connection to a single phase 230 volt supply
UEENEEP025A Attach cords, cables and plugs to electrical equipment for connection to 1000 Va.c. or 1500 Vd.c. supply

Enabling you to:

  • Select flexible cords/cables and plugs to suitapplications
  • Connect flexible cords/cables and plugs
  • Perform testing procedures
  • Locate and repair faults in flexible cords and plugs
  • Provide reports

Please note course duration is one and a half days, (day 1, 8:30am - 4:30pm; day 2, 8:30am - 11:30am) and classes are run subject to numbers - refer to How to apply for more information. Minimum course numbers 5, maximum 12.
