Plug and cord replacement

Successful completion of this skill set you will give you the tools you need to be able to replace plugs and cords. You'll get the training, skills and knowledge to change a flexible plug or cord and wire up new plugs and sockets

You'll cover the following units:

UEENEEE101A Apply occupational health and safety regulations, codes and practices in the workplace 
UEENEEP024A Attach cords and plugs to electrical equipment for connection to a single phase 230 volt supply 
Enabling you to:

  • select flexible cords and plugs to manufacturers' specifications
  • undestand different types of plugs and scokets
  • safely remove damaged plugs and sockets
  • attach plugs and cords
  • test flexible cords for correct operation

Please note course duration is one day, 8:30am - 4:30pm and classes are run subject to numbers. Minimum course numbers 5, maximum 12.
