Improve your English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills for the workplace

If English is not your first language, and you want to improve your skills or develop more confidence in workplace English, this skill set will help you.

You will gain the skills and knowledge to speak and listen in a range of straightforward informal and formal employment interactions involving discussion and instructions.

This is a specialist skill set for migrants who wish to improve their English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills in the workplace.

The typical timetable is 3.5 hours per week, over a 10 week period.

Term 1
This course will run on Thursdays, from 1.15pm - 4.45pm, starting 2 February 2023.

There are no specific employment pathways - this course is designed to build your confidence in using English in the workplace.

This course may also provide a pathway to other award courses or higher education bridging courses.
