Planning for a Micro Business Skill Set

Starting your career in screen and media or the arts? Or an ‘old hand’ looking to upskill?

This course will provide you with the opportunity to:

  • Analyse business information and opportunities
  • Consider digital technologies
  • Explore finance, taxation, insurance, regulations, compliance and risk minimisation
  • Develop an arts business idea
  • Evaluate an arts business idea
  • Prepare a business overview document for stakeholders, such as a business plan
  • Seek feedback from industry stakeholders for review

Upon successful completion you will have a business overview document based on your specific business idea that has received feedback and is ready for professional use in industry.
