An introduction to the Korean language, its sound and writing system

Learning the language of Perth's sister city, Seocho city, and one of Australia’s most important trading partners, South Korea, may improve your job prospects with Korean multinational companies such as Hyundai, Samsung Electronics, POSCO, Kia Motors and LG Electronics. It can also expand your enjoyment of Korean popular culture such as K-pop or the many Korean dramas and movies available on Netflix.

The Korean language belongs to the Altaic language family like Mongolian and Japanese. In this course you will learn the Korean alphabet, Hangeul, and the syllable each character represents. You will also learn some general information on the countries in which it is spoken.
