Our courses are recognised for their high standard by the fitness industry. You will learn how to develop and provide training programs to groups of all ages and fitness levels in our fully equipped commercial fitness centres, and gain knowledge in nutrition and body composition to provide your clients with basic dietary plans in order to achieve their goals. 

You will also improve your organisational, motivational and social skills, so you will be ready to work in commercial fitness centres, local governments, schools, sporting teams/clubs and other care organisations.

Personal Trainer 9-month program

If you want to become a Personal Trainer but you haven’t completed SIS30315 Certificate III in Fitness, then this 9 month program will help you achieve your goal faster. After completing the selected pre requisite units in the first 10 weeks of training, you will then begin the Certificate IV in Fitness providing you with the skills, knowledge and competencies to begin your career as a Personal Trainer. Practical training will be conducted in our gym facilities, as well as various outdoor venues.

    • SISFFIT004  Incorporate anatomy and physiology principles into fitness programming
    • SISFFIT005  Provide healthy eating information
    • SISFFIT006 Conduct fitness appraisals
    • SISFFIT014  Instruct exercise to older clients
    • SISXCCS001  Provide quality service
    • *HLTAID003  Provide first aid  
      *You will also need to obtain your Senior First Aid certificate with another recognised training provider.

    Kick off your career in sport or community recreation

    This qualification will provide you with the practical skills and knowledge to perform a variety of roles in customer support positions in the sport or community recreation industry. You will be competent in a range of activities and functions requiring autonomous work within a defined range of situations and environments.

    Successful completion of this qualification provides you with job role opportunities within fitness centres, sporting grounds or complexes, leisure, aquatic and community recreation centres.
