North Metropolitan TAFE offers Screen and Media courses in Animation & Games Design*, Broadcast Television, Film & TV, Mass Communication and Radio Broadcast. Our lecturers and students are behind the scenes of some of the most exciting projects and events in Australia and overseas – and you can be part of that too! 

We work with industry partners, so you will learn the industry’s latest trends and techniques. We are collaborating with Screenwest and Matchbox Pictures on new ABC Television drama series “The Heights”, with students given the opportunity to gain work experience on set.

Radio broadcasting skills that will help you land your first job

Radio is an exciting, dynamic industry, filled with passionate, articulate people. This Advanced Diploma course provides you with all the skills to land your first job in a radio station. This is a hands-on course and you will have a placement in a real radio station, our own BOOM Radio, giving you a chance to develop industry networks, and practical experience.
