The Aged Care Standards highlight the importance of residents being engaged in social and physical activities to support physical, mental and social wellbeing.  The leisure and health skill sets provides those wanting to support clients in these areas with the knowledge and skills to develop and deliver engaging programs for clients and to monitor the effectiveness of these. This skill set is most suited for those that are working in the ageing and disability sector and want to expand upon their current role or move into a different area.
