Gain specialised skills in Primary Health Care in a community setting
If you are an Enrolled Nurse who is currently working in a health care environment successful completion of this skill set will upgrade your existing skills, providing a pathway for career progression and specialisation in your field.
This is a flexible course and aims to provide you with a broad range of care skills suitable to the community and primary health care setting.
On successful completion you will be able to implement case management practice, support community participation and social inclusion for positive health outcomes whilst also being able to provide end of life care with a palliative approach to practice.

To enrol in this skill set you must:
- Be currently practicing as an Enrolled Nurse
- Provide your AHPRA Registration Number
- Be IV Medications competent (completed or will complete education in intravenous medicines administration)
This course if offered through a combined delivery approach, consisting of 4-6 hrs a week online and ongoing practical experience in the workplace.
