You'll also gain skills to implement and monitor infection prevention and control policies and procedures.
Successful completion of the units that comprise this skill set HLTENN040 Administer and monitor medicines and intravenous therapy and HLTINF007 Implement and monitor infection prevention and control standards, policies and procedures, meets the Nurses and Midwifery Board of Australia education requirements for Enrolled Nurse medication and IV competency.

To enrol in this skill set you must:
- Be currently practicing as an Enrolled Nurse
- Provide your AHPRA Registration Number
This course if offered through a combined delivery approach, consisting of 3-5 hrs a week online, workshops for those needing IV medications, and ongoing practical experience in the workplace.
Study of this skill set includes self-directed online learning, and four practical workshops.
