The course is designed to provide practical application of skills, where the learning takes place in classrooms, computer labs and our simulated business.

The Business and Management Simulated workplace is based at our Perth campus and offers a flexible office arrangement that prepares our graduates for the current work environment, including working remotely and from home.

Where computers are an essential part of the training, classes will be scheduled in a computer lab.

When timetabled in the simulated workplace, students are required to bring their own laptops. With access to Office 365, MS Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint, students will learn to connect to their course and with their lecturers and peers on their own device on site or remotely (ie at a different site or from home).

Typical timetable information
A typical week for a full-time load includes 3 days on campus and one day working from home. This may vary according to unit requirements as we simulate a hybrid workplace – working in our simulated workplace and working from home.

The course is available part-time, and will involve 2 days on campus – you will be enrolling in 6 of 12 units for the semester.
