CERTIFICATE IV IN TRAINING AND ASSESSMENT

This qualification reflects the roles of individuals delivering training and assessment in the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector.

The qualification (or skill sets derived from units of competency within it) is also suitable preparation for those engaged in the delivery of training and assessment of competence in a workplace context, as a component of a structured VET program.

Please note You MUST prove that:

  1. You have Vocational competency in your proposed area of teaching and assessing
  2. You have access or you have arranged to have access to real VET students undertaking nationally accredited training. This could either be within a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) or a Secondary School VET program.

You WILL NOT be able to complete the entire qualification if you cannot prove 1 and 2 above.

Please note This course is only available in Semester 2, 2019. Expressions of interest will be sought in June 2019.

Course fees are made up of two components, tuition fees and resource fees.

Tuition fees are determined by multiplying the course fee rate by the nominal hours, which is the number of hours in which an average student could be expected to complete each unit. They are not the hours of training or instruction.

Resource fees are charges for material that are essential to a course or unit, and are purchased by NMT to be used by students during the course.

Fees may vary depending on the units you are enrolled in so an approximate amount has been shown. You will be given the exact amount of your fees at enrolment. Part time student fees will vary depending on the number of units you are enrolled in.

Please note, you may also need to buy textbooks or equipment for your course.
