Learn foundation animation skills

This course is our introductory animation primer for high school students and graduates. Students graduating this course will be primed for action in the CUA41215 (AA97) Certificate IV in Screen & Media (Animation & Visualisation) or CUA51015 (AA90) Diploma of Screen and Media (Animation & Games Design).

Important 

If you are still intending to study this course at North Metropolitan TAFE next semester then you MUST be at our orientation session:

 Date         Tuesday 23 July
 Time        8.30am sharp
 Room      D211 (12 Aberdeen St, Newcastle St end, ground floor)

Please bring  Note-taking materials

We will be allocating your timetables, introducing lecturers and giving you a quick campus tour so you can find your classes.

School Leaver Non-School Leaver AQF
OLNA or NAPLAN 9 Band 8 C Grades in Year 10 English and Maths or equivalent Certificate I or Certificate II

  • External Hard-drive (approx. $50)
  • USB 2.0 (minimum) with at least 100GB storage

Typical timetable:

  • East Perth: 3 days per week plus Student Lab Time
  • Joondalup: 2 days per week plus Student Lab Time
