Get hands on with props and prosthetics
Casting and moulding is a specialised skill that reaches into all areas of Screen and Media, Special Effects, Prosthetics and Prop making.
This skill set delivers a comprehensive unit that provides the skills and knowledge required to construct props for theatre and screen productions using different casting and moulding techniques. It is an accredited unit that combines hands on practical activities using a combination of materials to create props that suit specific productions
It is highly recommended that you have completed CUA51020 Diploma of Screen and Media (Specialist Make-Up Services) or CUA51015 Diploma of Screen and Media (Creative Make-up) or had special effects industry experience.
This course will be run one day per week for five weeks, on Tuesdays, from 9:00am - 3:00pm.

The training environment you will be working in will require that long hair is tied back and closed in shoes are worn.
