Conservation and Ecosystem Management

If you love to work in a practical, outdoor environment and value restoring natural bush land, coastal and aquatic areas, then our conservation and land management courses would be your ideal study pathway.

You'll develop the foundation skills and knowledge needed within the conservation industry to enter the workforce in the private, local or state government sectors.

You will learn about restoration and management of natural areas and farmland, plant identification, safe handling of chemicals, operation and maintenance of small machines, work health and safety (WHS), using sustainable practices, weed control, fencing, site inspections, animal identification, chainsaw operation and maintenance, and how to build relationships with clients and customers.

You do not need to have any prior experience and this may be a great option if you are currently unemployed. All of our classes have extensive resources and are run by highly experienced lecturers. 

You may be able to attain a triple qualification, adding the Certificate II in Horticulture and Certificate II in Landscaping to this Certificate II in Conservation and Ecosystem Management by enrolling in additional units.

You may be able to attain a dual qualification, adding the Certificate III in Horticulture to this Certificate III by enrolling in additional units.
