Sucessful completion of the Advanced Diploma of Music Industry (Performance) will give you high level skills in performance, song arranging, composition and stagecraft technique.

 

Through this course you will develop your analytical, performance and creative skills under the guidance of highly experienced industry lecturers and mentors. You will refine your skills as a songwriter and performer, developing, producing and releasing your own recording product which is your calling card to the music industry.

Turn your raw talent into a career.

This course introduces you to the exciting and challenging world of music performance. You will focus on gaining skills in songwriting and arranging, ensemble/performance and recording.

 

You will participate in recording sessions in our studios and follow the production processes through to the completion of a demo recording. At the end of your course, you will have produced and packaged a product (CD/Single) and gained skills in communication, critical listening, stagecraft, musical style and industry practice.

Eligibility for supervised work placement is subject to obtaining a satisfactory Police Clearance. You will also need a Working with Children Check if your placement involves contact with children. Additonal costs will include $65 National Police Clearance, through Australia Post (it is best to apply for this first) and $11 Working With Children Check (WWCC).
